March 2020 Van Progress

We decided to use the truck bed liner to piant all the trim and headliner that was multi colored or had been fabric glued and colored with a flannel material.
The flooring looks amazing! We went with a luxury vinyl. This flooring was easy to put in and easy to cut. It is a free floating type of flooring so it works perfect for our van.
Plus it is fade, stratch, and stain resistant. The finished product looks amazing!
Started the bed frame. The husband and I learned very quickly we are NOT very good carpenters. Our frame is solid but I have no doubt there was probably an easier way then we went about it.
Making sure our bed was solid and well organized for storage underneath and accessing from each area was a bit of a challenge. Again I am sure there was an easier way to go about it then what we did.
Bed frame stained and ready for a mattress! The bed is solid, just need to close off the front storage from the rear access.
Framed the counter/storage area, just need to figure out the surface area, doors,, and the interior shelving unit.
Finally remove the terrible tint job. My initial attempt at this was with soapy water and a razor blade. I worked at this for over an hour and barely put a deny in the rear window. I got my hands on a heat gun and boy did that make all the difference in the world. I still needed the soapy water to remove the film or glue from the window but it was a cake walk after using the heat gun the remove two layers of tint (one included the factory tint). Windows look great now!
More updates to come!
